The struggle to breathe

1 puff, 2 puff, 3 puff,4…..

There goes the little boy standing by the door

Lungs crumbling as we speak

His inside blackening by the minute

His heart is getting weaker and weaker

That boy was me

Longing for fresh air,I do not seek

Confused?

Why can this be?

Who could have caused this?

Was I in harms way?

1 puff, cough, cough

The pain I feel in my lungs

Bronchitis knocking at my door

He`s let himself in….

In to damage, to damage my lungs

2 puffs, cough, cough

Wheezing

I can hear it, it sounds a like a babys rattle

Deeper and deeper it goes

3 puffs, cough, cough

This funny feeling I get as I breathe

My chest is tight

It feels like a brick is pressing down on me

4 puffs cough, cough

My time is almost runned out

Emptiness is what I feel inside

Im alone in the cold, cold world

I can no longer fight this battle anymore

I grown weaker and weaker

My journey is done…

Help!

I cant breathe

Please someone, anyone

Help me!..... dead

The struggle to breathe
